Earlier the Board of High School and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh conducted the UPTET 2012 examinations for the recruitment of candidates to the posts of Teachers.
The Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test TET Paper 1 is conducted for the recruitment of primary school teachers (I to V Std) and the Paper 2 examination is conducted for the recruitment of Upper primary Schools ( VI to VIII std).
